Unfortunately, one third of teenagers in the United States are obese. Parents have reason to be very concerned about an overweight teen. Although children have fewer health related issues than adults, overweight children are extremely at risk to be overweight adolescents and adults going forward.
The danger is obesity can lead to heart disease and diabetes. You are also prone to develop stress, sadness, and low self-esteem as an overweight teen or adult. There are many factors that point to overweight and obese children, including but not limited to genetic factors, lack of physical activity, unhealthy eating habits, or a combination of factors.

High Blood Pressure
Early Heart Disease
Skin Conditions Such As Heat Rash, Fungal Infections, and Acne
